Jennifer Vollbrecht’s professional experience has included roles in aviation, aerospace and defense industries. She has worked in many capacities, including Helicopter Crew Chief, flight engineer, Project Manager and most recently as an entrepreneur in Project Management Consulting.
As primary consultant at JVC-INC, Jennifer leads multi-disciplinary teams on large complex conventional facilities projects.
Jennifer’s career began with an enlistment in the U.S. Marines. During this time, Jennifer served as a Helicopter Crew Chief, Mechanic and Door Gunner. She flew several hundred missions including, training, air shows, medical evacuations, resupply and personnel transport. Jennifer was nominated by 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing for Navy League Association Enlisted Woman of the Year, representing the entire West Coast and receiving a Letter of Appreciation.
Jennifer was educated at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where she earned a BS in Professional Aeronautics and an MBA in Aviation. She also graduated from the University of Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management Entrepreneurial Program. Jennifer is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Saint Mary’s College of California, expected to complete in 2022.
She is an active member of the veteran and local non profit community. She has a short story published in Paper Dolls, stories from women who have served. Jennifer enjoys writing guest blogs and articles for veteran organizations, and her portrait was featured in an art exhibition for women veterans.
When Jennifer is not delivering projects and leading teams, she enjoys spending time with family. They enjoy camping, bike riding, hiking and being outside. Jennifer, her husband and 2 children live on a ranch in Central California. You can find Jennifer on the patio reading a book and drinking coffee enjoying the serene country air.
